The City of Melbourne Picture Windows program took place in January 2021 and utilised empty shop windows around the Melbourne CBD. The project’s aim was to bring a sense of energy back to the city after the gradual easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

These little huggers represented the nostalgia of hugging our loved ones and our city.

They covered the window of a shop for lease on Lygon Street, Carlton.
